The foundation of the database began in the 1990s as a "Dredging Desk Reference" and was the result of collaboration with and peer review by the U.S. WEDApedia holds a wealth of information and standard definitions for all aspects of the dredging industry. As part of WEDA's mission to promote the exchange of knowledge, the WEDA Publications Commission launched WEDApedia as a dynamic, go-to resource for members and anyone interested in the field of dredging.
